The conferences of the International Training Institute (ITI), National Energy Management Institute (NEMI) and the Sheet Metal Occupational Health Institute Trust (SMOHIT) are now the Sheet Metal Industry Institutes Conference (SMII).
The organizations will come together Sept. 22-24 in Atlanta to provide resources, training and opportunities that strengthen the unionized sheet metal industry. While each institute will retain its own focus, keynote speakers and large group sessions will bring together training directors and coordinators; certified technicians, supervisors and contractors; and physical and mental health safety champions. Breakout sessions, chosen during registration, allow each attendee to customize their conference experience.
During the conference, SMOHIT will recognize safety champions for the 15th year through the Safety Matters Awards, and NEMI will showcase this year’s inductee into the TABB Hall of Fame, which has celebrated icons in the testing, adjusting and balancing industry since 2003.
