Natasha Scott Lawson is a sheet metal worker at SMART Local 19 (Philadelphia, Pa.) with 25-plus years of experience. She says her focus is on “helping to bring more diversity to the trade, as well as being a mentor to new apprentices.” Natasha has been a shop steward at Wm. J. Donovan Sheet Metal Company for the past two years; she has worked at the shop for 22 years.
“I grew up in the city of Philadelphia and moved to Ambler, Pa. two years ago with my husband, a Local 420 steamfitter,” Natasha says. “I am the mother of a 23-year-old daughter who now resides in Texas.
