Having already lost a son to cancer, Brother TJ Dinsmore and his family (Local 1626, Alaska) need our support after losing another child.
Connall Dinsmore, 19, was killed in a car accident on July 25. Connall planned to apply with the Alaska Railroad to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Tragically, Connall is not the first child who Brother Dinsmore has laid to rest. He previously lost a son to cancer, while Dinsmore’s surviving son, Lucas, fought the disease three separate times.
“It’s been horrible for him. He’s always given of himself to help the railroad and help his brothers and sisters,” explained Local 1626 General Chairperson Martha Claugus. “He really cares about us and always helps us and has always been there for anyone who needs it. This is our chance to pay back what he’s given us.”
Claugus shared that it’s been absolutely devastating to watch Brother Dinsmore cope with tragedy after tragedy.
To support Brother Dinsmore and Lucas, GC Claugus started a GoFundMe to help his family move forward after the loss of their son and brother.
