This will be for multiple contractors at multiple locations. Some positions are filled by Local 48 members traveling over 100 miles. If you have any questions, please have your Business Representative contact me. Welders will receive $5 over scale. $35.50 SASMI Travel benefit consists of a maximum of three payments: $600 after Local 48 certifies you have established yourself on the job; $600 after 14 calendar days on the job; and $600 after 28 calendar days on the job. Payments are made via Direct Deposit on Tuesday and Thursday SMART Incentive Portal Access required.
