Greg Messenger of SMD Local 33 of Toledo, Ohio, was working in a confined space with two others when a fire broke out. The two co-workers made it out of the fire with minor injuries, while Messenger had to be pulled out by firefighters. Messenger was put on a ventilator at the hospital. There’s no word on Messenger’s current condition or on how the fire started.
